| 70% polypropylene/15% rayon/10% wool/5% other fibers. The Kamik-Zylex boot liner features a tri-zone thermal engineered felt lining that keeps feet warm and dry. The hydrophobic layer closest to the foot "wicks away" perspiration moisture. Feet are kept drier, warmer, and more comfortable. A middle layer of metallic coated nylon film (similar to material developed for NASA's Apollo Space Mission) has been built into this Zylex insulation. It reflects in up to 80% of radiated body heat, and at the same time the outside surface reflects cold away from the foot. Mainly wool, the outer layer of felt helps absorb and dissipate foot perspiration, and adds insulation to help feet stay warm and dry. |
